Symphony Orchestra Trip - by Mahera and Sharanya

                   Symphony Orchestra Trip

Today the Year 5, and Year 6 kids went to the Wellington Symphony Orchestra concert.
We got to listen to sounds of weather, nature, and seasons made by different instruments put together to make beautiful music.
There were heaps of schools from different places
around Wellington. It was super loud like a group of stomping elephants in there.
We had lots of fun on the trip there, here are a few pictures to look at.

Vane - How to be money-wise

Today a man from A.S.B bank called Vane came to talk about finance. He was awesome!
He told us it would be good if we earned our own money. A couple of ways to earn money is do chores maybe you could do the dishes or hang up the clothes without your parents asking you.
Another way to get money is by doing neighborhood jobs. One is take the neighbors dog on a walk. You also can earn money by making a lemonade stand or doing a bake sale.
You should use some money and save money because if you waste all your money you will have no money left.
We learned what P.I.N means. It means personal identification number. We also learned that there is four numbers in a P.I.N number. He gave Harley lots of inspiration.  You also get interest if you put your money in the bank. You pay interest if you pay back the money late.
Last of all he gave us wrist bands.
