Too hard, I can't do it, I'm no good at this...followed by learning what the word perseverance means and persevering, and we all managed to complete our name/reflection. 

We learned:

# how to use a craft knife - scary, but there was no blood to be seen

# how to 'do a reflection'

# move the paper and not ourselves to make it easier to cut

# about safety

# that if your hands are gluey, it is hard to work with paper

# you need to press and hold glued paper together for a while so the glue can set.
